Product Description

Take the guesswork out of making restaurant-quality rice at home with this easy-to-use cooker. The handy appliance offers a large 10-cup uncooked-rice capacity, producing up to 20 cups of cooked rice at a time–great when gathering a group of friends or the whole family for dinner. Simply add dry rice, measure in the water, and make a selection from the one-touch digital control panel. The thoughtfully designed micro-computerized cooker features Fuzzy Logic technology, which automatically makes fine adjustments to the temperature and heating time to ensure perfectly cooked rice. Once the rice has cooked, the appliance automatically switches over to keep-warm mode, which maintains an ideal serving temperature without overcooking. In addition, the unit’s large LCD display offers a 15-hour timer that allows for meals to be ready ahead of time, which means dinner can be ready and waiting after a long day at the office. Choose from a variety of menu options including white rice, brown rice, sushi rice, rinse-free rice, sprouted brown rice, mixed rice, sweet rice, and porridge. It also offers a steam function (steam tray included) for steaming vegetables, a slow-cook cycle for preparing soups and stews, a quick-cook cycle, a reheat function, and a bread baking cycle for baking cakes and more. Other highlights include a tight jar-style top, a removable steam vent and dew collector, a thick (2 mm) nonstick inner pot, and a carrying handle for taking cooked food right to the table. Accessories include a handy measuring cup, spatula, spatula holder, and instruction manual. Attractively housed in stainless steel with black accents, the 650-watt cooker measures approximately 11 by 10-1/2 by 11 inches.

Rice, vegetables, soup and much more are deliciously prepared in this versatile Sanyo cooker. The stylish stainless steel wrap is complemented by black accents to present a fashionable look for any kitchen. Prepare your meals immediately or use the 15 hour preset timer to have your favorite dish ready at your desired time. Multi-menu selections on the easy to use digital keypad are ideal for white rice, brown rice, sushi rice, quick cooking, soup, steaming and even cake baking. The micro-computerized cooker makes up to 20 cups of rice, plenty for your family gatherings. A thick, 2MM non-stick inner pot creates even heat distribution for optimum cooking results. A reheat function heats rice as hot as when initially cooked and the keep warm function keeps rice warm and delicious after cooking. The tight, jar style top along with the steam vent and dew collector monitors the release of steam and moisture to insure food is cooked to its maximum potential. Prepare healthy dishes using the steaming function. Included are a measuring cup, spatula, spatula holder along with a bilingual instruction manual (English, Spanish).

  1. Cooker makes excellent rice, and also is a wonderful congee/soup machine. The only function I have not used is the baking mode. Use as a crockpot, soup maker, egg steamer. It’s very versitile.

  2. I thought I had made an review earlier but apparently not. anyway, this is wonderful for its price. There have not been any real malfunctioning since it’s purchased in the beginning of this semester(now you know I’m a lazy college student). There were significant burned marks and rusty looking residual developed on the heating element, but I blame my roommates for accidentally pouring rice into the cooker without pot……. Only tested the white rice, sushi, porridge functions. Will go on test more later when I got time.
